Changing What We See

Man works too hard on changing what he does not yet see clearly, and not hard enough on seeing things clearly.

Wanting to be Good

You say you want to be good.

Compared to what?

Seeking

Seek nothing from this point on but the kernel of Truth inside of you. Seek for it not outside, nor in books nor in words, but inside of you, buried beneath the clutter of your mind's possessions. And do this not by simply moving and rearranging the debris but by letting go of it, so that room is made for the kernel of Truth to grow.

Difficulty

Difficulty is the catalyst which transforms action into spiritual knowledge.

Contributing

Doing the right thing for the sake of looking good or merely acting rightly is not a real contribution to existence. Sometimes we must contribute in ways that are not flattering.

So act on intuition, seemingly wrong or uncomfortable as it may be, but do it with sincere honesty and you will truly be living within the stream of life.
