The Irony of Resistance

In resisting pain and suffering, we actually prolong and intensify it. This is an ironic subconscious phenomenon that keeps us from waking up.

Winning

Man wants to win far more than he wants Truth. In fact, most men search for Truth for no other purpose than to win it for themselves. This is an utterly futile endeavor.

Character

Man's character is not intrinsic. Character has nothing to do with True Nature. Character is nothing more than a costume and a role which has been imposed upon him by the universal flow. That does not make it it any less pertinent, it just makes it less personal than he wishes it to be.

Man makes the mistake of looking for happiness in what he calls his character.
