When you do not know the true self, and instead believe the illusion of your self, then self-improvement is not possible. All you will improve is the illusion.

Real self-improvement is to finally see the illusion.

A Better Life

Do not chase another's description of a better life, no matter how spiritual it sounds, you will only be chasing an idea--your idea. Find what you seek within.

What I am

Unattached to all emotion, and thought, and perception, there is a constant energy that never changes, never comes and goes, never needs or expects. That is what you are, what I am.

Separate (journa entry)

I can only have a problem with something that I see as separate from what I think I am. Seeing it as separate creates a need to imagine a relationship between the "me" and the something. In that space between, much can happen, all imaginary as well.

Life, People, and Situations

Life, people, and situations...they are all the same. They are not cruel or kind, for you or against you, good or bad. They are all a projections of what you see as you.

What am I?

Is this not a better question than "Who am I?"

False Understanding

When we do not understand something we create a false understanding--or judgment--of it in our minds because the false self cannot live without an explanation or position.

Our True nature knows the joy and authentic adventure that comes with just living.

What to Do

He who asks "What shall I do?" has already a plan in mind.

Letting Go

"Letting go" is not an action, it is not something you can "do." It is the willingness to see and accept what is.

Thinking

You cannot see from the confines of your own thinking.

Illusions

Ideas are illusions. "Illusion" is just another word for "idea."

Being fearful of seeing the truth in this is also just an idea.

Needing

Only when you stop needing to know, will you know.

Direction

If the mind is looking for direction and instruction, it is likely to miss meaning and understanding.

Failure

You can only fail if you pretend to succeed.
